Starting May 4th, 2012 our lesson prices will now be $90 per person for a first time two hour group lesson, $70 per person for a two hour follow up lesson. All lessons include wetsuit and surfboard, and you can practice after the class for as long as you like at no extra charge.

Rental prices will be:
$20 per board for returning students, $30 per board for walk-ins
$20 per wetsuit for returning students, $30 per wetsuit for walk-ins
Don’t worry! If you have taken advantage of early registration for this summer, we have the time/date stamp on your registration and you will be charged our previous rates of $80 / $60.

We are doing this to reflect the rates of the rest of the industry in Santa Cruz.
Santa Cruz Surf School is still the ONLY surf school in Santa Cruz to have top of the line surf equipment (including booties) and instruction, our OWN PRIVATE PARKING LOT for our students to park for free, right in the Beach Boardwalk area, Secure storage for your belongings while you surf, a private BATHROOM and CHANGING ROOM, and sunny private outdoor shower.

If you really knew the differences in the details, there’s no question which surf school has the best set up for our students to enjoy their time in Santa Cruz.

Had such a great class on the 21st! First time surfing. Caught 5 waves. 2 really long ones all the way to the beach, and one even standing up. I am someone who thought I could never do it. Dylan is a wonderful teacher. I really appreciated his support and expertise.
